How our tools actually work.
Most SEO software blurs the line between live data and AI guesswork. We don’t. Every tool wears a label so you know exactly what you’re looking at, and we will never present AI reasoning as a real measurement.
Five rules we don’t break.
These apply to every tool, every plan, every result.
- Every tool is labeledwith one of four data-source labels, shown at the top of every tool page.

- Real data is real.“Live data” numbers come straight from external APIs in real time.
- AI-written content is yours.You own it, edit it, publish it. We don’t resell it or train on it.
- If we can’t label a tool honestly, it doesn’t ship.

What we won’t do
- We will never claim AI estimates are real Ahrefs or Semrush data.
- We will never show a fake “tracking” dashboard when no real tracking is happening.
- We will never fabricate competitor rankings, backlink counts or citation evidence.
- We will never sell “guaranteed rankings.” No honest provider can guarantee SEO outcomes.
- We will never train AI models on your generated content or paste-ins. Your inputs are yours.

Questions about our data
Why not make every tool use live data?
Some jobs don’t need it (writing a post), and some data is expensive or unavailable without your own account (Search Console, paid keyword databases). Where live data exists, we connect it; where it doesn’t, we label the result honestly instead of inventing numbers.
How do I turn an AI estimate into live data?
Connect Google Search Console or GA4 under Connections, or add a DataForSEO key under Settings → API Keys. Tools that support live data switch over automatically and their label changes.
What if I think a tool is mislabeled?
Email hello@seofragments.com with the tool name. We review every report and fix confirmed mislabels within 48 hours.
Do you train AI models on my content?
No. We don’t train models on your inputs or generated content. When you use your own API key, your requests go to your provider under your account and their terms.
