What does “BYOK” mean?
Bring Your Own Keys. You add your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, DataForSEO, etc.) in Settings → API Keys. We use them only for your requests, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, never logged. You pay the upstream provider directly — usually cheaper than our hosted Pro tier if you generate more than 200 a day.
Are AI estimates marketed as live data?
Never. Every tool wears one of four labels: Live, Live + AI, AI writer, or AI analysis. See our Transparency page for the full classification.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing (LemonSqueezy customer portal). Access continues until the end of your billing period, then reverts to Free.
Do you accept crypto?
Yes — NowPayments (BTC, ETH, USDT/USDC on multiple chains and more) is live. Card payments via LemonSqueezy. Manual bank transfer is also available on request.
What if I hit my daily limit?
The Free plan caps at 5 a day, Pro at 200 a day. BYOK is effectively unlimited (capped only by your budget at the upstream provider). The app shows a clear upgrade prompt — never a silent error.
Refund policy?
If you’re unhappy within 14 days of upgrading, email hello@seofragments.com for a full refund — no questions asked.
How does BYOK Pro compare to Pro?
Both include the same 120+ tools. Pro uses our hosted AI (Claude) with a 200/day limit. BYOK Pro lets you plug in your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, DataForSEO) for unlimited generations at $10/mo less. If you generate more than 200 outputs per day, BYOK Pro saves you money.
Do you offer student or nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Email hello@seofragments.com from your .edu or nonprofit domain and we’ll apply a 30% discount to any paid plan. BYOK Pro at about $13/mo is the most common choice for students.
Can I switch plans mid-billing cycle?
Absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period so you don’t lose access mid-month.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay via LemonSqueezy. Crypto via NowPayments. Manual bank transfer on request. We never see or store your card number.
Why are Pro and Agency crossed out?
Both include hosted AI usage that we pay for. We’ve paused new sign-ups for them for now. BYOK Pro has every Pro feature with unlimited use through your own API keys, at $19/mo.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is your trial: every tool is available with daily limits, and all free browser tools are unlimited. There’s also a 14-day money-back guarantee on BYOK Pro.
Which AI models does BYOK support?
Claude (Anthropic), GPT models (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Perplexity, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, Together.ai, and any model available through OpenRouter. You choose which model powers your tools.
What is the Content Engine?
A standalone $20/mo add-on that scans your website, extracts keywords, builds a content calendar, and writes full SEO-optimized articles. It supports 20 languages, Word .docx export, Copy HTML and WordPress auto-publish. Works alongside any plan.
Do annual plans get a discount?
Yes. Annual billing saves about 16% on BYOK Pro ($16/mo vs $19/mo) and 20% on Content Engine ($16/mo vs $20/mo).
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your generation history and settings are preserved for 90 days after downgrade. You can still view past outputs on the Free plan — you just can’t generate above 5/day until you re-upgrade.
