What is this launch list?
A searchable database of 1218 websites where you can submit your startup, SaaS product, AI tool, or side project. Each entry includes Domain Rating (DR), cost, backlink type, authority level, and a specific submission angle explaining how to approach that site.
How were these directories researched?
Every entry was researched with Ahrefs DR data, backlink analysis, and a custom submission angle. We check whether the link is dofollow or nofollow, free or paid, and what kind of content the site expects.
What is Domain Rating (DR)?
Domain Rating is an Ahrefs metric (0–100) measuring the strength of a website’s backlink profile. Higher DR means a link from that site carries more SEO value. Sites with DR 60+ are generally considered high authority.
Are these backlinks dofollow or nofollow?
It varies by site. The Backlink column shows whether each directory gives dofollow, nofollow, or mixed links. Dofollow links pass SEO authority; nofollow links still drive referral traffic and brand visibility.
Why are there 11 categories?
Different types of sites serve different purposes: startup directories for launch visibility, AI tool directories for niche audiences, press for media coverage, B2B databases for buyer intent, design galleries for portfolio exposure, app marketplaces for distribution, developer channels for technical audiences, regional directories for local SEO, social channels and communities for engagement, and mobile directories for app store presence.
Should I submit to every site on this list?
No. Start with free, high-DR sites in your category. A targeted submission to 20–30 relevant directories beats spamming 500 irrelevant ones. Focus on sites where your target audience actually spends time.
How long does it take to submit to all directories?
Most free submissions take 5–15 minutes each. If you submit to 50 directories, expect 4–12 hours of work spread over a few days. Many founders batch 5–10 submissions per day over 2 weeks.

Yes, but quality matters more than quantity. Focus on high-DR sites relevant to your niche. A single dofollow link from a DR 80+ directory is worth more than 50 links from DR 10 sites. Always write unique descriptions — never copy-paste the same text.
